TA3MAL PLATFORM
Taqwa Daoud, is a Senior Telecommunications Engineering student at Palestine Technical University-Kadoorie, and one of the first Ta3mal Ambassadors at the university. During her third year, she took the Tamheed Assessment when she realized she had chosen the wrong major. However, it shed light on the skills and attributes she excelled in, and her passion of journalism. “I feel if I took Tamheed in my freshmen year I would have been able to change my major and my life would be different” she said. Through a regional partnership with Microsoft, Silatech launched Ta3mal, an employability portal that provides young people with all the resources they need to find a job or start their own business. Here, young people have access to aptitude testing and career guidance counseling. There are tips on how to write a CV and how to prepare for a job interview. Ta3mal has over 500 online courses, including valuable language training, as well as job search and job matching.

Since then, Taqwa’s impressive charisma and eagerness, along with her determination to help other students to identify their skills and abilities, had helped her secure a paid intern position with Ta3mal along with 9 other Ta3mal Ambassadors from other universities, and empower other students through trainings or connecting them with job opportunities in Palestine.
