Raja and her family were struggling to make ends meet. She desperately wanted to help her father; it took some time, but she thought of a way. “I was living with my family in harsh financial conditions. My father was the only breadwinner. I noticed that there was no iron-framing workshop in the surrounding area, so people had to travel 300 kilometers to the capital Tunis, to get their work done. So, I decided to enter this field, and I managed to get funding from Silatech and its partner Enda to launch my project,” said Raja. Raja attended business management training with the fund she received and started her own workshop. Her earnings have helped support her family since her father passed away. Raja also helps others support themselves and manages a team of five employees, including four women.
